I just adore Sarah & Kyle and their love! We’ve now walked through a engagement photos, Sarah’s bridal shower, the wedding day, and pregnancy announcement photos together! Where did you get married and what drew you to your wedding venue?
Quail Ranch in Simi Valley. The property has 70 acres of citrus trees, and the property was full of flowers, trees, butterflies, and so much natural beauty. It felt like a hidden gem in the middle of Simi Valley. The owner of the property was extremely communicative throughout the whole process as well.
What’s one of your favorite memories from your wedding day?
Our first look was one of our favorite memories! It felt so personal and intimate, and it was a time where the two of us could just enjoy “us” before the ceremony and reception.
Any mindsets that you would suggest a couple take into their wedding day?
Be present and take mental snapshots of moments. The day flies by and it’s important to appreciate it and soak it all in, hour by hour.
What’s one thing you wouldn’t change about your day? Or one thing you would?
One thing we would change is to save the last dance for just us two on the dance floor, while all of our guests are lining up for our grand exit.
What is one piece of advice you would provide to another couple preparing for their wedding day?
Start the planning process early and stay organized using a binder or google spreadsheet!
What would you say to someone on the fence about investing into their wedding day photography/photographer team?
You’ll have these photos for your lifetime, not to mention they’ll be past down to generations to come!! Also, having a professional photographer that’s experienced will take away any chaos or stress on your wedding day.
