This is brand new for 2024, and I’m so excited!! Never before have I offered portrait sessions on 100% film. The timeless, grainy, goodness of film. Because these are introductory sessions, they will be at a special rate of $250 (major steal, considering costs of film and the studio/backdrop rentals).
The purpose of these sessions is to capture your child’s personality and moods, just as they are, whether they’re feeling silly, joyful, happy, melancholy, or angry at the time of the session. These are not for only achieving those perfect “smile at the camera shots,” though I’m pretty adept at getting those, too. These portraits will serve as windows into their souls, to hold onto as family heirlooms for years to come. They will stand the test of time. Who knows, maybe I’ll be calling them “Soul Sessions” in the future instead 😉
These sessions are for children only, those who are already sitting independently (e.g. about 6 months and older). Not the best for children who are having trouble emotionally regulating without being in their parent’s arms, as they will be photographed solo in front of a simple white backdrop without supports.

If you’re interested in a more customized photo session experience, please contact me using the contact form on my website here about scheduling a full hour (or longer) session to yourself. Locations and dates are of your choosing for these full sessions. And as much as I love running Mini Sessions, I just love having your family all to myself for a whole hour of creativity, more!

Photo Session Length: up to 15 minutes, until film quota is reached.
Group Maximum: 1 solo child
What’s included:
- 5 black and white film images of client’s selection from a proofing gallery (delivered as digital downloads)
- $50 print shop credit for ordering prints or other tangible gifts and goods through your online gallery
- Access to alllll the lovely images from your shoot I’ve deemed as “keepers” for printing from your gallery (at additional fees), in addition to your selected digital downloads.
- Private online gallery with access to professional print labs for printed goods of any images in your gallery (not just of the 5 digital downloads)
- Mini session preparation guide with styling tips
Session Total Investment: $250.00
Additional digital image downloads a la carte = $30/image
Gallery Slideshow Turnaround Time: 3-4 weeks (extra time allotted for film lab processing)
HOW TO SIGN UP
- Complete our “Petite Portrait Booking Contact Form”
- After submitting the form, please check your email, and complete the steps to book by signing a contract & submitting the total $250 payment via invoice or Zelle.
SESSION DAY + POST-SESSION
- Please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes early to your mini-session. There is no wiggle room to go overtime and accommodate tardiness as sessions with each individual/couple/family will be back-to-back.
- Photos will be shared via an online proofing gallery within approximately 3-4 weeks following your mini-session. You will select your 5 desired images for download. You may purchase a la carte images for $30/each.
- Shop away with your print credit and choose your favorite images for digital download!
