Shannon wins best boyfriend of the year for pulling off this surprise for his girlfriend (now fiancée!) Rachel. He picked out a special outfit for Rachel (with a perfectly coordinated outfit to match), made sure she had her nails done with a friend, and organized a scavenger hunt through the city. The scavenger hunt ultimately led her to Shannon, waiting in their favorite spot at the Huntington Library & Gardens in San Marino. My heart began to race as Rachel approached Shannon, and watching their proposal unfold gave me the best kind of butterflies! So RAW and so real. Yes, there may have been some quick tears I wiped away behind the camera. I can’t wait to shoot more proposals in Los Angeles!! What an incredible moment in a couple’s journey to document 🙂
